Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill delivered in the main event.
The two strawweight veterans fought tooth-and-claw for 25 minutes at UFC Vegas 10, neither giving the other a chance to breathe whether the action was on the feet or on the mat. In the end, it was Waterson who took the win with a narrow split decision that felt like it easily could have gone either way. Regardless, they silenced any doubters who questioned whether they were deserving of being bumped up to the main event following the postponement of Glover Teixeira and Thiago Santos after Teixeira tested positive for COVID-19.
