The first knockout for Friday night’s Bare Knuckle FC took place in the second fight of the night.
After the opening bout of BKFC 12 went to a five-round decision, a bout between Robert Washington and Kenmon Evans took place in the 185-pound division. Both fighters came out swinging for the fences in the opening seconds. Washington, the shorter fighter, was having difficulty finding his range, which led to a lot of tie-ups and separations.
Just over 90 seconds into the round following another separation, Evans landed a ferocious one-two combo to put Washington to sleep, bouncing off the ring ropes. Check out the video.
BKFC 12 takes place at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla. and headlined by a fight by a fight between former UFC welterweight title challenger Thiago Alves taking on Julian Lane. Former winner of The Ultimate Fighter Kendall Grove takes on former UFC and Bellator vet Hector Lombard in the co-main event.
