A featherweight contest has been added to UFC 252.
Herbert Burns and Daniel Pineda are set to clash at the next pay-per-view on Aug. 15 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, according to MMA Fighting’s Guilherme Cruz via sources.
Combate was the first to report the possible booking.
Burns (11-2) has won five straight fights, including a submission win over Evan Dunham at UFC 250 earlier this year.
Pineda (26-13) will make his UFC return for the first time in a little over six years. His last Octagon trip saw him lose via unanimous decision to Robert Whiteford at UFC 171.
UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will defend his title against Daniel Cormier in a trilogy match for the main event.
