A pair of middleweight prospects will headline Dana White’s Contender Series in the second card during season 4 on Aug. 11 from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
UFC officials announced the full five-fight card this past weekend during UFC on ESPN 14.
At the top of the card, Dustin Stoltzfus will look to build on his 12-1 record, and a nine-fight win streak, when he faces off with Joseph Pyfer.
Pyfer boasts a 7-1 record while competing primarily in high-profile East coast promotions like Ring of Combat.
At bantamweight, Adrian Yanez will take on Brady Huang while the women’s strawweight division will also be featured on the card as Vanessa Demopoulos faces off with Cory McKenna.
Canadian prospect TJ Laramie will take his shot on the Contender Series when he meets Daniel Swain in a featherweight showdown.
Finally, the flyweights will kick off the five-fight card when JP Buys takes on undefeated prospect Nate Smith. This will be a second appearance on the Contender Series for Buys, who previously fell to Joby Sanchez in his previous fight on the show.
Dana White’s Contender Series airs behind closed doors at the UFC APEX with the shows broadcast on ESPN+.
