UFC Vegas 6 event poster released

The UFC has released their new event poster for their Aug. 8 event which will be headlined by a pair of heavyweight finishers.

Derrick Lewis will take on Alexey Oleinik in the main event at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. Lewis enters the fight with back-to-back decision wins over Blagoy Ivanov at UFC 244 and Ilir Latifi at February’s UFC 247 event.

Oleinik also brings a two-fight winning streak into the bout, including a second-round submission win over Maurice Greene at UFC 246 and, most recently, a split decision nod over Fabricio Werdum at UFC 249.

In the co-main event, former middleweight champion Chris Weidman looks to snap a two-fight losing skid against surging contender Omari Ahkmedov.
