Robert Whittaker vs. Darren Till UFC on ESPN 14 scorecard

The UFC on ESPN 14 headliner between ex-champ Robert Whittaker and Darren Till was extremely close, though judges were unanimous in their final scores.

All three judges awarded Whittaker 48-47 scores, representing a 3-2 margin in the five-round non-title fight that headlined Saturday’s fight card at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. While the scores were the same, the judges disagreed on the final two rounds of the fight.

Judges Ben Cartlidge, Anders Ohlsson and Clemens Werner all gave Till the first round, 10-9, and Whittaker the second and third round by the same score. But as for the championship frames, Cartlidge and Werner gave Till the fourth round, 10-9, while Ohlsson gave it to Whittaker. Cartlidge and Werner were also in the majority for the fifth round, giving Whittaker the 10-9 while Ohlsson dissented for Till.
