UFC releases poster for new Aug. 1 headliner

The UFC has a new main event for their return to Las Vegas, along with a new event poster signifying the change.

Holly Holm vs. Irene Aldana was the originally scheduled headliner for the Aug. 1 event at UFC APEX before UFC President Dana White announced the booking would take place at a later date. With the change, a three-round middleweight bout between Derek Brunson and Edmen Shahbazyan takes over top billing.

Aldana revealed on Wednesday that she tested positive for COVID-19 which led to her removal from the bout.
