Makwan Amirkhani pulled off the second finish of UFC 251’s preliminary card with some slick grappling skills against Danny Henry.
Amirkhani choked out Henry with an anaconda choke after switching up from a guillotine choke as Henry tried to right himself after a takedown. Referee Leon Roberts checked Henry’s arm after a brief struggle, and his lack of response forced intervention at the 3:15 mark of the opening frame.

The finish marked Amirkhani’s second submission win via anaconda choke. It also put him back in the win column after a TKO loss to Shane Burgos in his previous appearance at UFC 244.
After a pair of wins, Henry has now dropped back-to-back fights following a first-round guillotine choke tapout to Dan Ige at UFC London in March 2019.
