Undefeated Welsh prospect Jack Shore will face Brazilian bantamweight Anderson dos Santos at the UFC Fight Night show in Abu Dhabi on July 15, sources told MMA Fighting following a report from Combate.

Shore (12-0) dominated the Cage Warriors bantamweight class before inking an exclusive deal with the UFC in 2019, tapping Nohelin Hernandez with a rear-naked choke in his octagon debut.

“Tank” was expected to face Geraldo de Freitas at March’s UFC London show before the coronavirus pandemic forced the company to shut down the entire card.

“Berinja” dos Santos (20-8) is an experienced fighter that looks to claim his first UFC victory after dropping decisions to Nad Narimani and Andre Ewell. Dos Santos is a former Titan FC 135-pound champion, besting Ricky Simon to win that title in 2016.

The UFC event will be headlined by featherweights Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige. It’s the second of four cards scheduled for Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
