The bout was recently designated a title eliminator by UFC President Dana White. Sterling has won six of his previous seven octagon bouts, most recently outpointing Pedro Munhoz. Sandhagen, meanwhile, has won all five of his UFC bouts and has only suffered one pro loss in 13 fights.

Sandhagen tries to sit up to break the feet apart and Sterling snatches another rear-naked choke, and this one is under the chin! Sandhagen is in a world of trouble! The choke is locked in.
