The main event of UFC on ESPN 12 saw a clear shift in momentum after the second round.

Dustin Poirier defeated Dan Hooker by unanimous decision on Saturday at UFC APEX in Las Vegas, winning on the scorecards with a pair of 48-47s and one 48-46 score.

Judges Sal D’Amato, Derek Cleary, and Eric Colon all gave rounds 3, 4, and 5 to Poirier after scoring the first two for Hooker. Colon gave the lone 10-8 of the fight to Poirier in round four.
