The UFC on ESPN 12 weigh-ins were free of drama.
Lightweight headliners Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker successfully made weight for Saturday’s show at UFC APEX in Las Vegas, as did co-main event welterweights Mike Perry and Mickey Gall.
Not only did all 20 fighters scheduled to compete this weekend make weight, but they used up a little less than 80 minutes of the two hours allotted for Friday’s weigh-ins.
Other notable weigh-ins include Sean Woodson and Julian Erosa, who agreed to a 150-pound catchweight bout with Erosa stepping in for Kyle Nelson (visa issues), and newcomer Jason Witt, who hit the welterweight mark despite stepping on just two days’ notice for Ramiz Brahimaj (cornerman tested positive for COVID-19).
