UFC releases poster for third ‘Fight Island’ show, featuring Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Joseph Benavidez 2

The UFC has released its poster for the promotion’s third “Fight Island” show.

Set to take place on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, the July 18 show is scheduled to be headlined by a rematch between Deiveson Figueiredo and Joseph Benavidez. The two will again fight for a vacant flyweight title after their first meeting resulted in no new champion being crowned due to Figueiredo missing weight, rendering him ineligible to win the title, and then going on to defeat Benavidez by second-round TKO.

The poster features the headliners as well as co-main event middleweights Jack Hermansson and Kelvin Gastelum.

Hermansson and Gastelum both seek a return to the win column with Hermansson having fallen to Jared Cannonier in his most recent outing and Gastelum currently on the first losing streak of his career.
