Mariya Agapova is wasting no time outside the octagon.

The 23-year-old Kazakhstani prospect, who made quick work of short-notice replacement Hannah Cifers earlier this month, is now scheduled to take on Shana Dobson at a UFC Fight Night event scheduled for Aug. 22 in the United States, sources confirmed to MMA Fighting following a report by Combate.

Dobson (3-4) is in desperate need of a win after dropping three straight inside the octagon. The former TUF 26 contestant stopped Ariel Beck with punches in her promotional debut in Dec. 2017, but went on to lose to Lauren Mueller, Sabina Mazo and Priscila Cachoeira.

Agapova (9-1) enters the match coming off three wins in less than a year, including a pair of finishes over Alexa Conners and Marilia Santos under the Invicta FC banner. The flyweight talent has lost once as a professional, dropping a decision to Tracy Cortez at Dana White’s Contender Series in July 2019.

The UFC has yet to officially announce the event and its main event.
