Multiple sources close to the situation confirmed the news to MMA Fighting with verbal agreements in place for the matchup.
Fili looks to get back in the win column after dropping a decision to Sodiq Yusuff in his most recent outing, which brought an end to a two-fight winning streak. The Team Alpha Male fighter has put together a 4-2 record over his past six fights, including wins over Artem Lobov, Myles Jury and Sheymon Moraes.
As for Jourdain, the Canadian is coming off an impressive second round finish against “The Korean Superboy” Doo Ho Choi this past December. Jourdain is currently 1-1 in the UFC overall.
Fili vs. Jourdain is the latest addition to the June 13 card, although the UFC hasn’t officially announced the event or the headliner for that show just yet.
