A welterweight fight between Belal Muhammad and Lyman Good is being rebooked for the upcoming UFC show on June 20.
Multiple sources confirmed the matchup to MMA Fighting on Thursday with verbal agreements in place for the fight.
The fight was originally scheduled for UFC 249 in April but Good fell off the card and Muhammad never received a new opponent. It was later revealed that Good had tested positive for COVID-19.
Now healthy and ready to compete again, Good has been rebooked against Muhammad as the welterweights join a growing list of fights confirmed for several upcoming UFC events.
Good is coming off a knockout win over Chance Recountre in his most recent fight while Muhammad has gone 6-1 in his past seven fights including back-to-back victories over Takashi Sato and Curtis Millender.
The location for the June 20 card is still to be determined but the UFC has been planning on holding all domestic shows at their Apex facility in Las Vegas. The Nevada State Athletic Commission has a hearing scheduled on May 27 that is expected to clear the way for combat sports to return to the state.
