A bantamweight matchup between Sijara Eubanks and Sarah Moras is back on for May 13.
Multiple people with knowledge of the UFC’s plans said the fight has been rebooked for the event next month. The fight was one of the casualties when the promotion postponed UFC 249 on April 18.
The news was first reported by The Sports Daily.
The May 13 UFC event, which has yet to be officially named, takes place at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Fla. It is one of three events currently scheduled for the arena, which opened its doors after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ruled that sporting events like the WWE were “essential services” amid the coronavirus pandemic. The main card is expected to air on ESPN and stream live on ESPN+.
The Ultimate Fighter 26 veteran Eubanks needs to rebound after a pair of losses in her most recent appearances. After graduating from the reality show, she racked up two straight wins.
Moras, meanwhile, is on the upswing after a recent first-round TKO this past September at UFC 242. She is 3-4 overall in the octagon.
