UFC 248 video: Brian Ortega tells Jay Park, ‘I told you I’d slap you like a b*tch’

More video has emerged in the confrontation between Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung’s translator, Jay Park.

Ortega is seen telling Park, “I told you I’d slap you like a b*tch” and laughs as security officials intervene in a video obtained by TMZ.com. Park, his arms outstretched, is restrained by a bystander. UFC lightweight contender Justin Gaethje can be seen in the background.

The onetime UFC featherweight title challenger reportedly struck Park, a Korean musician who’s worked with Jung, during UFC 248 and was escorted out of T-Mobile Arena. UFC President Dana White said law enforcement did not factor into the confrontation, but Jung’s management later said a police report had been filed. A public records request with the Las Vegas Police Department is pending.

On Sunday, Jung blasted Ortega on social media, calling him a coward and promising a fight.

”I will knock you out and your f*cking face will be bloody,” he wrote on Instagram. “Now, your f*cking face stays in my mind and I will f*ck you up in the cage.”

Ortega has yet to comment publicly on the incident. The episode is reportedly the fallout of an interview Jung gave on The Ariel Helwani Show that Park translated where “The Korean Zombie” accused Ortega of ducking a fight. Ortega afterward messaged Park, “Welcome to the fight game” and added, “don’t be surprised if I slap the sh*t out of you when I see you.”
