So far, no one has had an answer for Rodolfo Vieira on the mat.
The Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace picked up the sixth submission win of his career on Saturday, finishing Saparbek Safarov with an arm-triangle choke in the opening round of their middleweight contest at UFC 248 in Las Vegas.

Safarov (9-3) made sure it wasn’t an easy win for Vieira, busting up his eye and possibly causing an injury before being wrestled down to the mat. Once there, Vieira quickly moved to attack from Safarov’s back before transitioning into top control. Vieira then locked in the arm-triangle and secured the submission at the 2:58 mark of round one.
Vieira is now 7-0 as a pro with all of his wins coming by way of knockout or submission. He has finished his last two fights via arm-triangle choke.
