UFC veteran Olivier Aubin-Mercier is the latest addition to the PFL roster.

The league announced Wednesday that the 31-year-old Canadian has been signed to the promotion, following an initial report by ESPN. He will compete in the PFL’s upcoming 2020 season as a lightweight.

Aubin-Mercier (11-5) fought out his contract with the UFC last year, ending a five-year run with the promotion on a three-fight losing streak. A runner-up on The Ultimate Fighter: Nations, “OAM” went on to win seven of his next eight fights following the that season’s finale, picking up victories over the likes of Evan Dunham, Anthony Rocco Martin, Drew Dober, and recent PFL welterweight finalist David Michaud.

After losing to Arman Tsarukyan, Gilbert Burns, and Alexander Hernandez (all by decision) in his last three Octagon outings, Aubin-Mercier finished his UFC tenure with a 7-5 record.

A date for his PFL debut is still to be announced.
