You could hear literally everything at UFC Brasilia, so post-fight banter stood out a lot more than usual.
The lack of audience at Saturday’s event made for some interesting moments captured by UFC microphones at Ginasio Nilson Nelson.
Two of the funniest ones came during a lightweight bout between Renato Moicano and Damir Hadzovic during the ESPN+ main card. After a quick rear-naked choke victory, a fired-up Moicano indicated he wanted more in the octagon, which his opponent pointed out was a tall order.

Moicano’s excitement was intense enough to throw off UFC commentator Michael Bisping, who momentarily forgot the historic circumstances of Saturday’s event.

With the coronavirus pandemic forcing the UFC to drastically alter its live event business, fans likely haven’t seen the last of events with empty stands. The UFC currently has two events on March 28 and April 11 scheduled for its APEX Center in Las Vegas, though final approval will come from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
