Following a pair of decisive finishes at UFC Norfolk, Megan Anderson and Jordan Griffin will both go home with an extra $50,000 for “Performance of the Night.”
Anderson earned her bonus after crushing opponent Norma Dumont with a powerful right hand that put her down and out in the opening round. It was Anderson’s third win in the UFC but this is her first post-fight bonus.
Meanwhile, Griffin picked up his first victory inside the Octagon after putting TJ Brown to sleep with a nasty guillotine choke in the second round.
In addition to Anderson and Griffin winning “Performance of the Night” bonuses, the back-and-forth battle between Kyler Phillips and Gabriel Silva earned “Fight of the Night” honors on Saturday night.
Phillips ultimately earned a unanimous decision victory, but both fighters will earn an extra $50,000 for their performances at UFC Norfolk.
