There’s only one true way to celebrate an Octagon win if you’re an Aussie, and former Invicta FC champ Megan Anderson made it happen after her knockout win at UFC Norfolk.
Anderson pumped up the crowd with a cageside “shoey,” drinking beer from a shoe after stopping Norma Dumont on the main card of the event at Chartway Arena.
No word on who’s shoe was the honorary glass.

Anderson has good reason to celebrate. She’s now finished two consecutive fights after a submission of Zarah Fairn dos Santos in her previous outing. Previously, she struggled to build momentum with losses to Holly Holm and Felicia Spencer bookending a controversial win over Cat Zingano.
Anderson’s fellow Aussie, UFC heavyweight Tai Tuivasa, popularized shoeys in the UFC, so much so that he grew tired of fans requesting them at all hours.
