“Sexyama” is back in the win column.
Yoshihiro Akiyama’s second appearance for ONE Championship went much better than his first as the 44-year-old veteran needed a little over three minutes to dispose of Sherif Mohamed at Friday’s ONE Championship: King of the Jungle show in Singapore.

The aggressive Mohamed waded right into a counter-right from Akiyama, which sent him tumbling to the floor completely out of it.
This is Akiyama’s first win since defeating Amir Sadollah at a UFC Fight Night show on Sept. 20, 2014. Akiyama, who has competed for the UFC and Japan’s DREAM and Hero’s promotions, was just 1-6 in his last seven fights. His loss to Agilan Thani last June marked Akiyama’s return to competition after a three-and-a-half-year hiatus.
