Paul Felder couldn’t make it to the UFC Auckland post-fight press conference, but he found time to update his fans anyway.

Following Felder’s brutal five-round main event fight with Dan Hooker on Saturday, both men were taken to the hospital as opposed to having to deal with the usual fight night media obligations. “The Irish Dragon” later recorded an Instagram story to provide an update on his health status, which may have involved a facial injury.

“I can’t tell what my face looks like right now, but it doesn’t look good,” Felder said. “I feel like I look kind of like (rapper) Action Bronson—is that his name?—because it’s so swollen. I should be the new host of [Bronson’s show] F*ck, That’s Delicious. Let’s get a campaign going for that. It would be a hell of a lot easier than fighting. Paul Felder, for F*ck, That’s Delicious. Or at least the co-host.

“Hopefully, I’ll be out of the hospital tomorrow morning. Just staying here for precautions. Face is definitely broken, but we’ll get that fixed. My boy Jared Gordon’s had a few of these. He seems okay.”

Felder did not address the possibility of retirement. Immediately after the scorecards were read—a split decision win for Hooker—the 34-year-old removed his gloves and suggested that he’ll have to do some serious thinking about what’s next for his career.

“That might be it for me,” Felder said inside the cage. “I’ve got a four-year-old at home that misses me every time I go away like this.”
