Ariane Lipski inked a new four-fight contract with the UFC and booked her next bout for May.
“The Violence Queen” will return to action on May 16, taking on fellow Brazilian flyweight Luana Carolina in a UFC Fight Night card that is expected to take place in San Diego, California. Multiple sources confirmed the news to MMA Fighting following a report by Ag. Fight.
A former KSW flyweight champion, Lipski (12-5) defeated last-minute replacement Isabella de Padua in Sao Paulo last November, bouncing back from decision defeats to Joanne Calderwood and Molly McCann in her first UFC appearances.
Carolina (6-1) joined the UFC after defeating Mabelly Lima via decision at Dana White’s Contender Series in Aug. 2018, and handed Priscila Cachoeira a decision loss in her promotional debut last May.
