Juan Adams' UFC career has come to an end - for now.
The 28-year-old heavyweight announced Wednesday on social media he has been informed by his manager that he’s no longer on the UFC roster following a first-round knockout loss to Justin Tafa at UFC 247 last Saturday.
Spoke with the manager and I’m not in the ufc anymore. As easy as it would be to give up, I’m going to keep going. I made the changes too late and now i have to pay for that but i have the right pieces in place now. I will continue Hoping and working for the best moving forward.
Adams (5-3) signed with the UFC after knocking out Shawn Teed at Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018 and finished Chris De La Rocha in his promotional debut five months later. A decision defeat to Arjan Bhullar followed by back-to-back stoppages to Greg Hardy and Tafa put an end to his journey in the company.
