Welterweight Tim Means is the latest addition to the UFC’s latest Southwestern trip.
According to the Albuquerque Journal, Means will face Ramazan Emeev at UFC Rio Rancho, which takes place Feb. 15 at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
Means is among seven fighters with roots in New Mexico, including main card attraction Diego Sanchez, who faces the high-flying Michel Pereira.
The home field advantage follows another boost for Means, who notched a first-round submission victory over onetime welterweight title challenger Thiago Alves in his previous outing. He is 3-3 in his past six outings.
Emeev hopes to get back into the win column after his first octagon loss, which came via decision against Anthony Rocco Martin. Previously, the Dagestan-based fighter had won three straight.
