Kickboxing star Raymond Daniels will enter the Bellator cage for the second time on Jan. 25 as he faces Jason King at Bellator 238 in Inglewood, Calif., the company announced Monday.
Daniels (1-1), who holds the welterweight belt with Bellator Kickboxing, scored one of the best knockouts of 2019 in his first MMA bout in over a decade, stopping Wilker Barros with a vicious right hook with seconds left in the opening round of their welterweight bout at Bellator Birmingham in May.
King (8-5) built the majority of his MMA record under the Valor Fights banner, only going the distance once in 13 fights.
Bellator 238 will take place at The Forum in Inglewood and feature the promotional debut of Cris Cyborg. The former UFC, Strikeforce and Invicta FC featherweight champion faces Bellator’s 145-pound queen Julia Budd in a five-round contest.
