Bellator signs Wyatt Barber, brother of Maycee Barber

The Barbers are branching out into Bellator.

Wyatt Barber—the younger brother of UFC flyweight Maycee Barber—is the newest member of the Bellator featherweight roster. MMA Fighting confirmed the signing with officials following an initial report by ESPN.

A start date has not been set for the 18-year-old, who will be making his pro debut for the promotion. Barber made his amateur MMA debut last year at LFA 70 in June, defeating Julian Valencia by TKO.

Barber currently trains at Roufusport MMA Academy in Milwaukee, the same camp as sister Maycee and UFC standouts Paul Felder, Anthony Pettis, and Belal Muhammad, among other notable fighters.
