Two new fights have joined the UFC 249 lineup as Sijara Eubanks returns against Sarah Moras and Khama Worthy faces off with Ottman Azaitar on April 18 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
UFC officials announced the new fights on Wednesday.
A former Ultimate Fighter finalist, Eubanks has experienced a lot of ups and downs since moving to the UFC roster. As a flyweight, Eubanks rattled off two wins in a row against Roxanne Modaffeeri and Lauren Murphy but she hasn’t found that same kind of success at 135 pounds.
Eubanks has lost her last two fights in a row to Aspen Ladd and Bethe Correia but now she’ll attempt to get back on track against Moras in April.
Meanwhile, Moras will look to build on her last win after she finished Liana Jojua by third round TKO at UFC 242 last September. That put an end to a three-fight losing streak for Moras as she seeks to find stability when facing off with Eubanks at UFC 239.
As for Khama Worthy, the lightweight prospect makes his return off six wins in a row including a stunning first-round TKO in his Octagon debut when he flattened Devonte Smith.
Worthy will try to duplicate that success in his second UFC appearance while going up against Azaitar, who is undefeated in his career with a perfect 12-0 record. He made an equally impressive debut when he knocked out Teemu Packalan in the first round last September.
Both fights joins the UFC 249 card headlined by Khabib Nurmagomedov facing off with Tony Ferguson in a highly anticipated lightweight title fight.
