ARES has continued to attract big names to the banner and the additions of welterweight Nordine Taleb and flyweight John Moraga is further evidence of that.
Although it was rumored that the second event from ARES would attempt to be the first MMA event on French soil, the promotion, which is heavily backed by television giants Canal+, have confirmed that its second event will instead take place in Brussels, Belgium at Forest National-Vorst Nationaal Arena.
Taleb (15-7-0) is set to headline the event against popular Belgian fighter Maarten Wouters (11-7-0). The French fighter has collected just one win in his last four outings. His last outing resulted in a knockout loss to Russian Sanda expert Muslim Salikhov.
Also announced for the event, former UFC flyweight title challenger John Moraga (19-7-0) will return to MMA competition after competing in boxing to take on another well-known quantity in fellow former UFC fighter, Hector Sandoval (15-4-0).
ARES launched the banner earlier this year in Dakar, Senegal. The first promotion intended to put on marquee banner in Africa and the organization gained a lot of traction for the event due to the inclusion of famed Senegalese wrestler Reug Reug. The event also featured UFC veteran Taylor Lapilus and brother Damien Lapilus.
