Welterweight sluggers Paul Daley and Sabah Homasi will face off in the Bellator cage in spring.
The promotion on Monday booked Daley (42-17-2) and Homasi (13-8) for Bellator 241, which takes place on March 13 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. A promotion official confirmed the news to MMA Fighting following an initial report from MMA Junkie.
Daley returns to the cage after a pair of high-profile wins in fights against Erick Silva and Saad Awad. The results put him back in the hunt for the welterweight title after a lackluster loss to Michael Page and a previous setback against Jon Fitch.
Homasi also hopes to earn his third straight win after Muhammad Abdullah in his promotional debut follwed by a knockout of Micah Terrill in his most recent appearance, which came this past August at Bellator 225.
Bellator 241 hosts a pair of quarterfinal matchups in the Bellator featherweight grand prix: Two-division champ Patricio Freire vs. Pedro Carvalho, and Emmanuel Sanchez vs. Daniel Weichel, a rematch of the 2016 meeting that Weichel won.
