Kevin Lee will travel to Brazil to face rising lightweight Charles Oliveira in the main event of UFC Brasilia on March 14, multiple sources told MMA Fighting. Combate first reported the match-up.

Lee (18-5) is coming off a devastating head kick knockout of Gregor Gillespie in his return to lightweight in November, bouncing back to the winning column following welterweight defeats to Al Iaquinta and Rafael dos Anjos.

“The Motown Phenom” has fought once in Brazil, submitting Francisco Trinaldo with a rear-naked choke in March 2017.

Oliveira (28-8, 1 no-contest) headlines a UFC card for the second time in his career after finishing six opponents in a row since June 2018, capped off by a first-round knockout over Jared Gordon in November.

“Do Bronx” set a new record for most submission wins inside the Octagon by tapping Christos Giagos with a rear-naked choke in 2018, and then extended the record with wins over Jim Miller and David Teymur shortly after.

The event takes place at the Nilson Nelson gymnasium in Brasilia and features Demian Maia vs. Gilbert Burns in the co-main event. Check the updated line-up below.
