After a nearly one-month hiatus, the UFC is finally back this weekend with UFC 246. Aside from being the first UFC event of 2020, UFC 246 will be headlined by a fight between two of the most popular fighters in the UFC, Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone. And as you might expect for a McGregor fight, they’re pulling out all the stops.

Ahead of the biggest fight of ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone’s career, ESPN’s Brett Okamoto spoke with Cerrone who revealed that his longtime sponsor, Budweiser, had commissioned specialty cans of their beer in support of him.

“‘Brewed and canned for Cowboy fans,’” Cerrone quoted. “The best right here is the slogan talking about, ‘I’m a blue-collar, All-American, hard-working boy. I just want to let all the blue-collar boys know there’s still hope.’”

Cerrone then posted an image of the can to his own social media. The front of the can dubs Cerrone “The Great American Cowboy Cerrone” and declares the beer to be “Brewed and canned for Cowboy fans.” The front also has a quote from Cerrone that reads:

“I want all of the blue collar American working class people to know that I’m out there fighting for them. People ask me, ‘Why don’t you take time off?’ but the working class doesn’t take time off. They’re out there working every day. That’s what I do, too. I want them to know there is hope, and I’m out there just like they are.”

On the other side of the can has a picture of Cerrone underneath the quote, “Live a life worth living,” and includes some of Cerrone’s all-time UFC records, including Wins, Finishes, Performance Bonuses, and Knockdowns.

The cans will reportedly be sold in Las Vegas all this week.

Cerrone has been sponsored by Budweiser for years. It’s a pairing that made sense, after all, before he became sponsored by Budweiser, it was already Cerrone’s beer of choice. And that partnership has worked well for Budweiser as you’d be hard-pressed to find a more enthusiastic supporter of their product. Cerrone even used a Budweiser bottle as a proxy for himself (in contrast to a bottle of McGregor’s own Proper 12 Whiskey) when the fight was finally announced.

UFC 246 takes place on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
