The build-up to Conor McGregor’s next appearance may seem somewhat subdued compared to some of his previous fights, but “The Notorious” took it upon himself to share some exclusive training footage as he prepares to take on Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC 246.
In the clip that was posted to Instagram, a smiling and cackling McGregor laces up a pair of boxing gloves and engages in pad work with his coaches at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. Outside of this footage, the public hasn’t heard much from the former two-division champion and the promotion for the Jan. 18 bout has been comprised mostly of online and television ads.
McGregor and Cerrone are scheduled to appear at a press conference on Jan. 15 at Pearl Theater in Las Vegas, which will be open to the public.
