Bellator announced a change to the upcoming show in Dublin, Ireland, on Feb. 22. Kiefer Crosby, who was originally set to meet Hugh Pulley in a 160-pound catchweight, will now face promotional newcomer Iamik Furtado.
Furtado (6-1) is a Guinea-Bissau-native who made Brazil his home before starting his professional MMA career in 2015, winning six in a row before inking a deal with Bellator. “The African Lion” finished three of his opponents by knockout or TKO.
SBG’s Crosby (7-1) is looking to keep the momentum going after a decision victory over Hugo Pereira last September, bouncing back from the only blemish on his professional record, a disqualification loss against Mike Jackson due to an illegal knee in July of that year.
Bellator Dublin will take place at the 3Arena and feature James Gallagher vs. Cal Ellenor in the headlining attraction. The bantamweights were first set to fight last September, but Ellenor had to pull out with an injury.
