When you’re known as the “King of Kung Fu,” knockouts are expected and Muslim Salikhov delivered at UFC 242.
On Saturday’s early prelims in Abu Dhabi, Salikhov connected with a right hand on the button in the first round of his welterweight bout with Nordine Taleb, causing the Canadian veteran to plummet to the canvas.

No follow-up shots were needed and the official time of the stoppage was 4:26 into the fight.
It was the second consecutive knockout win for Salikhov, who improved to 2-1 in the UFC and 15-2 overall. For Taleb (15-7), this is the third loss to strikes in his career and he has now been finished in three of his last four outings.
