Eddie Alvarez will miss out on his biggest fight so far in his ONE tenure.

ONE lightweight champion Christian Lee has agreed to replace an injured Eddie Alvarez and face Savgid Arslaniev in the ONE lightweight World Grand Prix final on Oct. 13, ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced Thursday morning.

Lee (12-3) has won three straight fights and will compete at the ONE Championship 100: Century event on short notice.

Arslaniev (8-1) has reeled off four straight wins.

The ONE lightweight world title will not be on the line, according to a report from MMA Junkie.

Update: Alvarez commented about the withdrawal on Twitter.
