Andrei Arlovski has his third fight for 2019 booked.
The former UFC heavyweight champion is set to return to the Octagon to take on Jairzinho Rozenstruik on Nov. 2 at UFC 244 in New York City. The news was first reported by Newsday on Wednesday and was later confirmed that day by both fighters via social media.
Arlovski is 1-1 in 2019. The 40-year-old fighter is coming off a decision win over Ben Rothwell in July, but prior to that came up short in a split decision to Augusto Sakai in April. Arlovski is 28-18 and two no-contest in his professional MMA career. “The Pitbull” trains out of American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Fla.
Meanwhile, his opponent Jairzinho is looking to remain undefeated in his career. The Suriname product is 8-0 as a pro and 2-0 in the UFC. He last fought June where he scored a nine-second knockout over Allen Crowder at UFC Greenville.
