Brave CF’s first trip to Bogota, Colombia, on Sept. 7, will be headlined by UFC lightweight veteran Felipe Silva versus Guram Kutateladze, promotion officials told MMA Fighting on Monday.
Silva (8-2) entered the Octagon three times between 2016 and 2018. In his UFC debut, the CM System talent knocked out Shane Campbell in just 73 seconds. With long layoffs between bouts, Silva was let go by the company after back-to-back defeats to Mairbek Taisumov and Claudio Puelles.
Kutateladze (10-2) is riding a seven-fight winning streak that includes one appearance under the Brave CF banner, a decision victory over TUF Brazil 4 veteran Erick da Silva last September. Four of those seven wins came by way of stoppage.
Brave 26 in Bogota takes place exactly one year after the promotion’s first event in Colombia, which featured Godofredo Pepey’s victorious debut with a first-round submission over Alexander Torres. The card will be promoted in partnership with Latin Fighter Championship.
