Dominick Cruz sends message to Henry Cejudo: ‘You’re not in my caliber or class lil man’

Dominick Cruz doesn’t find double UFC champion Henry Cejudo to be at his level.

The former UFC and WEC bantamweight champion took to Instagram to take a shot at Cejudo after the Olympic gold medalist made a post of his own calling out Cruz for a “tune-up fight” earlier this week.

Cruz posted: “@Henry_Cejudo - You’re not in my caliber or class lil man. You and your lil coach @Cptamericas”

Cejudo, who currently hold the UFC flyweight and bantamweight title, is recovering from a shoulder surgery and he’s likely to be out for the rest of 2019. The 32-year-old fighter last fought in June where he defeated Marlon Moraes for the vacant 135-pound title.

Cruz, former king of the division, has not competed since 2016 where he came up short in a decision to Cody Garbrandt. He tried to fight in 2017 and 2019 but was forced to withdraw from both bouts due to injury.
