A veteran of 15 UFC fights, Court McGee’s next job is to welcome Sean Brady to the Octagon.

MMA Fighting confirmed with sources that McGee will face Brady in a welterweight bout at UFC on ESPN 6, which takes place at TD Garden in Boston on Oct. 18. The matchup was first reported by MMA Junkie.

McGee (19-8) has lost three of his last four fights. Most recently, the Ultimate Fighter 11 champion dropped a split decision to Dhiego Lima this past April. McGee started his UFC career with five wins in his first seven fights, including a split nod in a 170-pound bout over future middleweight champion Robert Whittaker, but he has gone 3-5 since that encounter.

The signing of Brady to the UFC was announced this past March. A 26-year-old fighting out of Philadelphia, Brady is 10-0 in his pro career so far and his last fight saw him capture the Cage Fury Fighting Championship welterweight title with a fourth-round TKO of Taj Abdul-Hakim.

Brady has trained with Philadelphia MMA legend Eddie Alvarez and he owns a unanimous decision win over TUF 16 winner Colton Smith.
