New York City’s own Lyman Good will defend home court in his next fight.

Good (20-5, 1 NC) is expected to face Chance Rencountre (14-3) in a welterweight bout at UFC 244 on Nov. 2 at Madison Square Garden, according to a report from Newsday.

A middleweight bout between Krzysztof Jotko (21-4) and Edmen Shahbazyan (10-0) is also lined up for the show. That matchup was first reported by MMA Junkie.

Good, a former Bellator welterweight champion, has alternated wins and losses in four appearances for the UFC. Most recently, he was submitted in the first round by Demian Maia at UFC Fortaleza in February.

Currently on a two-fight win streak, Rencountre will look to extend that run after defeating Ismael Naurdiev and Kyle Stewart earlier this year. “Black Eagle” has won six of his last seven fights.

Also on a two-fight win streak, Jotko has recorded back-to-back wins over Marc-Andre Barriault and Alen Amedovski to boost his UFC record to 8-4. Those performances are coming off the heels of a three-fight losing skid.

Shahbazyan is unbeaten in his career so far, including his first three fights in the Octagon. After earning a UFC contract with a 40-second knockout on the Contender Series last July, the 21-year-old Shahbazyan has defeated Darren Stewart, Charles Byrd, and Jack Marshman, the latter two by first-round finish.
