Leah Letson will attempt to score her second UFC win as she takes on Brazilian featherweight Duda Santana at the upcoming Fight Night card in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Nov. 16, multiple sources confirmed to MMA Fighting following a report by Combate.
Letson (5-1) successfully debuted in the Octagon with a win over Julija Stoliarenko last November after going 1-1 during The Ultimate Fighter 28 in 2018, defeating Bea Malecki before losing to season winner Macy Chiasson via first-round stoppage.
Santana (3-1), a teammate of Thiago Santos in Rio de Janeiro, signed with the UFC after being forced out of last year’s Contender Series with visa issues. “Cowboyzinha” came up short in her first appearance in the UFC with a second-round submission to Malecki at UFC Stockholm in June.
The UFC has yet to announce which bout headlines the event in Sao Paulo. The current lineup includes Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Trevor Smith and Ariane Lipski vs. Priscila Cachoeira.
