Stipe Miocic won it all on Saturday night.
Not only did he regain the heavyweight title and not only did he avenge a loss to Daniel Cormier by knocking Cormier out in the fourth round of the UFC 241 main event, he also earned a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.
The two-time heavyweight champion how holds the record for the most UFC bonuses in the division with nine, breaking a tie with Stefan Struve.
Fight of the Night went to Paulo Costa and Yoel Romero, who went toe-to-toe for three wild rounds, with Costa eventually picking up a unanimous decision win over the longtime middleweight contender. This marks Costa’s first time winning the Fight of the Night award and Romero’s fifth.
The other Performance of the Night bonus went to Octagon newcomer Khama Worthy, who accepted a lightweight bout against Devonte Smith on less than one week’s notice. The third scheduled opponent for Smith, Worthy beat the odds by finishing Smith with strikes in the first round.
