The UFC’s featherweight division has added another top talent to its ranks.
M-1 Global announced Friday that its featherweight champion Nate Landwehr has signed a contract with the UFC.
Landwehr (13-2) is currently on a seven-fight win streak including back-to-back defenses of the M-1 Global featherweight title. Most recently, he defeated Viktor Kolesnik by unanimous decision in the main event of M-1 Challenge 102 this past July. It was the second meeting between the two fighters and the rematch produced a five-round thriller.
Fighting out of Tennessee, the 31-year-old Landwehr has been competing overseas since 2017. He was victorious in all five of his appearances for M-1 Global.
