Boston Salmon is heading to the city with which he shares his name.

On Tuesday, officials announced a bantamweight bout between Salmon and Randy Costa for the upcoming UFC on ESPN 6 card at TD Garden in Boston on Oct. 18.

Both fighters will be seeking their first win inside the Octagon. Salmon (6-2) earned a contract on the very first episode of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender series back in July 2017, but lasted just 25 seconds in his debut at UFC 236 before being knocked out by Khalid Taha.

Fighting out of Massachusetts, Costa went 4-0 in the Cage Titans FC promotion to begin his career before losing via second-round submission to Brandon Davis, which also happened at UFC 236. The 25-year-old has never gone to a decision.

UFC on ESPN 6 is scheduled to be headlined by a light heavyweight bout between Chris Weidman and Dominick Reyes.
