Jones is set to earn a flat $500,000 payday for his title fight against Thiago Santos according to salary figures released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Saturday.
Santos will go home with a flat $350,000 for his spot in the main event opposite Jones, which will be by far the biggest disclosed payday of his UFC career. Just like Jones, Santos is making his salary at a flat fee without any kind of win bonus included.
In the co-main event, UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes will make $300,000 for her fight against Holly Holm with the possibility of taking home an additional $200,000 if she’s victorious. If Nunes wins, her payday would then match Jones for the biggest disclosed salary on the entire card.
Holm will make $300,000 flat without any win bonus for her part in the co-main event.
Second time UFC fighter Ben Askren will also enjoy a hefty payday for his main card battle against Jorge Masvidal as the former Olympian is scheduled to make $210,000 up front with another $160,000 earned with a victory.
Masvidal will make $100,000 in disclosed money with an additional $100,000 paid if he’s able to hand Askren the first loss of his professional career.
Former middleweight champion Luke Rockhold will also take home a six-figure payday with $200,000 in disclosed salary and another $150,000 paid out with a win. His opponent, Jan Blachowicz will make $46,000 up front with another $46,000 earned with a victory.
For his part, Allen will make $32,000 to show with another $32,000 paid out with a win over Melendez at UFC 239.
As always, the salary figures released by the commission are the disclosed paydays and do not include pay-per-view bonuses or other post-fight bonuses paid out by the UFC.
