Multiple sources close to the situation confirmed the fight to MMA Fighting on Wednesday following an initial report from MMAJunkie.
Calderwood will look to get back on track following a razor close decision loss to Katlyn Chookagian in her last fight at UFC 238 in June. Prior to that setback, Calderwood was undefeated at flyweight with three wins in the UFC, including victories over Ariane Lipski and Kalindra Faria.
As for Lee, she’s currently riding a seven-fight win streak including her first three victories in the UFC. Lee just competed at the UFC Fight Night card in Greenville, S.C. where she defeated Montana De La Rosa by unanimous decision.
Calderwood vs. Lee is expected to join a growing UFC 242 fight card that will be headlined by lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov taking on interim champion Dustin Poirier in a title unification bout.
